What are BIOTENSIDON biosurfactants rhamnolipids and how do they work?
Our globally unique new Biotenside RL biosurfactants are 100% organic products, which are produced from the microbial synthesis strain of protein synthesis.
These biosurfactants are rhamnolipids, which consist of the molecules of rhamnose and 3 oxicedanic acid.
The low parameters for each surface and interfacial tension, as
well as their critical concentration for micelle formation
(CMC), give them their high surface
activity and emulsifying capacity.
These biosurfactants are not poisonous, non toxic, completely
skin compatible and 100% biodegradable, with up to 30% more
cleaning power than conventional
surfactants.
